UCLA falls @ #1 Oklahoma
The young Bruins hung in for a half trailing 24-21 but failed to score in the second half and lost 41-21. "We have a lot of young players who will benfit from playing in a game like this, in a stadium like this" said Coach bronco331 to the media following the loss. This ends the non-conference portion of UCLA's season as they start PAC-10 play next week.

Ok I'm curious to see how that turns out I need to log on and play my game. I defiantly need to work on my offense not turning it over.

Florida falls to 1-2, Hickerson apologizes
Florida fell to 1-2 and 0-1 in SEC play with a 35-23 loss at Tennessee Saturday. The offense was stagnant and besides 2 long pass completions and a big kick return from Chirs Dunkley, the entire offense looked absolutely horrible. The defense was gashed for big plays left and right and Coach Hickerson looked distraught in his post game press conference:
"This is not the University of Florida, this is not Gator football. This is not me, this isnt John Brantley, this isnt Janoris Jenkins, this isnt Chris Rainey, the list goes on and on. Every single one of us, know that we have not played a football game yet, and we all apologize for that. I, myself owe the biggest apology to Gator nation, I am not Urban Meyer, I tried to be, and it wasn't me. John Brantley isn't Tim Tebow, he hasnt tried to be him yet, but we have been asking him to be. The offense that was in place at Florida, was suited very well for Tim Tebow, but he is no longer here. After these 3 embarrasing, and I do mean embarrasing performances, we will no longer run this offense. I cant do it, it just isnt what I do, I will work to put my offense in, and no longer will you see this attempt of what the spread is supposed to look like, it is a slap in the face to coaches who know what they are doing with it to try and run it the way we do. My offense will be put in, and the Gator offense will be back, with a fury. As far as the defense goes, we will get that corrected. I do sincerely appologize to every one a part of Gator nation however, and you will not see another performance like that."
I AM CHANGING PLAYBOOKS! I AM GOD AWFUL WITH FLORIDAS PLAYBOOK! I AM ACTUALLY EMBARRASED TO KNOW THAT YALL KNOW I HAVE BEEN BEAT THIS BAD BY THE CPU LOL! I APLOGIZE IN ADVANCE IF I RUN THE SCORE UP ON PEOPLE A COUPLE WEEKS IN A ROW! KENTUCKY, BEWARE!

tough loss, using a team specific playbook is a big challenge...i use the same playbook for every OD i'm in.

I either use Georgia Tech, Arkansas, or the Auburn playbook. I don't mind the playbook, and alot of people like it, but it just doesn't fit me. What style of playbook do you normally use?

I have used Colorado for the last 2 years...for me, I need to know the playbook in and out and have confidence in the plays im calling so it's tough for me to try and use another playbook because so comfortable with this one...at times, feel like i should venture out and spice it up...

Ya I like to mix it it up to keep myself interested. I'm getting more familiar with the auburn book but I do know the other 2 pretty well. I've probably tried all the popular books and have settled on these 3. I've never tried Colorado's book tho. UNC might fit your style, but if your more familiar with Marland that might be your best bet.

I usually try to use the playbook of the team I am unless the players just don't fit. I think the Florida playbook would have worked better for you if you still had Tebow because its built for a running qb.

I use the same playbook in all of my Dynasties. I am like zscott, I need familiarity. I know the ins and outs of the whole thing and what I can and can't do with it. I would be lost if I were forced to play with an unfamiliar playbook.

we keep getting D/C from each other. We have tried 2 times, and its been horribly laggy, then we get the boot. So we are gonna wait a little while.
So be patient with us please. I dont wanna sim it, or autopilot anyone, becasuse this is a big non-conference game.

DOMINATING
Penn State's 37-3 Defeat of Kent State has University Park Buzzing
University Park, PA Beaver Stadium - The Nittany Lions continued their dominating presence again here Saturday as they mauled the Kent State Golden Eagles 37-3. The Lions displayed their new uniforms brought in by the Hamilton era. Hamilton kept the simplistic look of the old uniforms by not having names or flashy stitching. The Lions dawned Navy helmets, black jerseys with navy numbers outlined in white, with navy pants. "It was quite an intimidating look," said Kent State QB Giorgio Morgan. The Lions still plan on wearing their traditional uniforms throughout the 2010 season.
With 4:15 to go in the 2nd quarter, Kevin Newsome hit Sophomore wide receiver Justin Brown on a 28 yard scoring strike in the back corner of the endzone. This play set the tone and Penn State never looked back.
Penn State Leaders Passing - Kevin Newsome 5/9, 147 yds, 2 TD Rushing - Evan Royster 22 car, 120 yds, 2 TD *Player of the Game* Receiving - Graham Zug 2 rec, 63 yds, 1 TD
