| Great game last night Oregon. I thought my team was too young to beat you, but I got some breaks in the 2nd half and pulled it out. I need to work on defending those deep passes though, you killed me a few times on those. | |

| #4 Ducks travel to Pasadena to take on #15 UCLA... and come home empty!...Great Game Bruins, who completely out coached and outplayed the Ducks...Oregon jumped out to the early lead after a Case Mathews pick, but the Bruins came back behind the running of Milton Knox, and strong decision making of QB Kevin Prince to tie the score at 7...the Ducks would add a Alexandro Maldanado FG and then late in the 2nd Qt hook up for a long pass from Darron Thomas to Dianta Jackson to head into the 2nd half up 17-10...But the Bruins stayed true to the game plan, and didn't make any mistakes....going into the 4th Qt the Ducks were still up 17-10...Coach Kelly, "that may have been the worst play calling and execution I have ever witnessed"...he later went on to say, "Give UCLA credit, that's a good young team, who played better then us, and out coached me and my staff"....The Ducks tried to hard to go up by two scores, which resulted in 3 4th QT INT, and the Ducks defence giving up 24 points..."The INT were the result of a good defence and Darron trying to force the issue, we should have relied on HB LaMichael James more, who ended up with on 10 carries, but averaged 5,8 yards a carry...and Milton Knox was beast in that final quarter with 3 TD runs"....Final Score was 34-24...any chance of a National Title Game and possible a PAC 10 Championship were squashed. ...Good Game Bro! | |

| Kansas treats recruits to an offensive game. The shootout started first play from scrimmage when Aggies' Gray scored on a untouched 79 yard touchdown run. Kansas did get some key stops including a goalline stand that led to a 101 yard drive for the Jayhawks. Freshman runningback Brandon Bourbon had another great game with 183 yards and 2 touchdowns. Kansas looks to continue their winning streak next week vs Oklahoma St at home. | |
