James appeared this morning (Mar. 12) in a six-minute court appearance and was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for two days already served. He was also placed on 24 months of probation and ordered to not have any contact with the accuser.
James must now report to the Lane Co. Sheriff's Dept. where a determination will be made if any actual jail time is involved.
Four other misdemeanor charges including strangulation, two counts of assault and an additional charge of physical harassment were dropped.
